6 days Kenyan Safari to Samburu National Reserve and Mara Naboisho Conservancy
Enjoy game viewing in some of Kenya’s unique safari destinations where you will watch the big five and nocturnal animals during a night game drive including a city tour to Nairobi.
Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi and transfer to your hotel
On arrival at Nairobi airport, you will transfer to the historic Sarova Stanley hotel for your overnight rest.
Day 2: Nairobi tour
After breakfast embark on a day excursion in Nairobi including visits to Daphne Sheldrick, Giraffe Center and Blixen Museum. Lunch is served at the Tamambo Karen Blixen and end the day with a visit to the Kuzuri Beads cooperative before returning to the hotel.
Day 3: Samburu National Reserves
Wake up, have your breakfast and drive towards the north past the equator at Nanyuki as you view Mount Kenya in back drop. Arrive at Samburu National Reserve, one of the best game viewing destinations in the country. Not only does the reserve offer a better chance of viewing wildlife but also amazing scenery such as its dry rolling savannah plains which were bisected by a meandering River. Enjoy an afternoon game drive to watch the big five and a variety of wildlife including some rare species. Overnight and dinner at Elephant Bedroom Camp
Day 4: Day and afternoon game drive in Samburu National Reserve
Wake up to a hefty breakfast and head to the reserve for a morning game drive. You will get a chance to see plenty of wildlife such as lions, leopard and cheetahs. You will be driven back to your lodge for lunch and in the afternoon, you will continue with your adventure by taking an afternoon game drive to see impalas and some rare species such as the African buffalo. Overnight and dinner at Elephant Bedroom Camp
Day 5: Transfer to Mara Naboisho Conservancy
After your breakfast, you will head to the airstrip to catch your flight to Mara. Check into your lodge and then continue to the fields for a game drive to see plenty of giraffes, Elephants, lions and more. You will get back to your lodge for lunch and relax while enjoying a breathtaking Mara sunset from one of the many sundowner spots. At dusk, you will enjoy a night game drive where you will see the big cats hunting plus so many nocturnal species using a spot light. From here, you will get back to your encounter Mara lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 6: Transfer back to Nairobi
Today after breakfast you will be transferred to the airstrip for your flight to Nairobi.
