Okavango Delta


Famous for being the larges inland delta Okavango Delta was formed from the flood of the Okavango River in the Karahali Desert. The delta has got seasonal floods in the two times of the year this occurs between January and February. The waters begin filling the delta in March and rising to the peak months of July and August. The Moremi Game Reserve, a National Park, is found on the eastern side of the Delta. The interesting part of the delta is that its water is not drained into any water body, instead some of it is evaporated while the rest is drained by the plants
