Day 1 ARRIVE IN JOHANNESBURG, SOUTH AFRICA
Met on arrival at Johannesburg International Airport and transfer to your hotel. Rest of the day at leisure.

Day 2 JOHANNESBURG
After breakfast depart on a half-day tour to Gold Reef City, a replica of old-time Johannesburg. Travel back in time as you take a ride on a penny-farthing or stroll through the olden day houses. Tour includes an underground visit, gold pour demonstration and a miners’ dancing performance. After lunch (own Expense) depart on a tour to the Capital City of South Africa – Pretoria with a visit to all the historical sights such as the Voortrekker Monument, Kruger House, Church Square, the City Hall, State Theatre/Opera House and the Union Buildings.

Day 3 KRUGER NATIONAL PARK
Depart Johannesburg along the N4 Highway towards the Mpumalanga Province. Spend the day exploring this spectacularly beautiful region. Enjoy the magnificent view from God’s Window across the Blyde River and Lowveld, the natural splendor of Bourke’s Luck Potholes and the quaint old mining town of Pilgrims Rest.

Day 4 KRUGER NATIONAL PARK
Enjoy a full day of game viewing in search of the “Big Five” namely lions, elephants, buffaloes, rhinos and leopards. During the heat of the day, stop for a leisurely lunch (on your own) at one of the rest camps. Return to the lodge in the late afternoon.

Day 5 SWAZILAND
Early morning game viewing en route to the Kingdom of Swaziland. Enter Swaziland through the Jeppe’s Reef border post traveling via Pigg’s Peak to the Ezulwini Valley visiting the Ngwenya Glass Factory en route.

Day 8 KWAZULU NATAL
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast before embarking on your journey south to KwaZulu Natal. En route visit the Swazi Candle factory just outside Mbabane. Continue traveling south via Big Bend to Hluhluwe.

Day 9 DURBAN
Today we continue traveling south through Zululand to Dumazulu for a unique African experience. Feel the pulsating rhythm of Africa as you experience the excitement and romance of the days of Shaka, King of the Zulus, in this authentic recreation of the Great Royal Homestead overlooking the Umhlatuze Lake. Watch the assegai-wielding warriors, share the fascinating secrets of the Sangomas and witness traditional customs such as tribal dancing, spear making and a beer drinking ceremony. Enjoy a Traditional African lunch. Continue to Durban.

Day 10 CAPE TOWN
This morning enjoy breakfast before departing on a short city tour of Durban before transferring to Durban International Airport for your flight to Cape Town.

This morning enjoy breakfast before departing on a short city tour of Durban before transferring to Durban International Airport for your flight to Cape Town.

Day 12 CAPE TOWN
Early morning, take the cable car to the top of Table Mountain for a fabulous view of Cape Town and the Cape Peninsula. In the afternoon, depart by ferry to Robben Island for a tour of the island, including the famous/infamous prison, now a museum.

Day 13 CAPETOWN
Enjoy Africa’s Premier route to the romantic meeting place of the Indian & Atlantic Oceans. Sir Francis Drake, the explorer, called it “the fairest Cape that we saw in the circumference of the Globe”. This tour offers a full and exciting day out visiting Hout Bay, Chapman’s Peak, Cape Point Nature Reserve, Cape Point, Cape of Good Hope, Penguin Colony, The Fish Hoek Galley, Simonstown, Constantia and the world famous Kirstenbosch Gardens.

Day 14 CAPETOWN
This tour of the winelands is unique as it is one of the few that visits the areas of Paarl, Franschoek and Stellenbosch. Enjoy wine tasting in the Stellenbosch area and a visit to the town that includes the Village Museum.

Day 15 CAPETOWN
Spend the day at leisure exploring the city of Cape Town or visit the many shops in the ‘most visited place in the World’, the V & A Waterfront. Afternoon transfer to the Cape Town International Airport for your flight to Johannesburg to connect to your International flight home.
