A brief stopover is provided for a tour of National Museum at Butare and genocide memorial of Murambi in Rwanda. Track Chimpanzees in Nyungwe forest and enjoy Gorilla watching/trekking in Ruhengeri.

Day 1 ARRIVE KIGALI, RWANDA
International flight arrives Kanombe International Airport, you will be met, assisted and transferred to your hotel. Evening at leisure.

Day 2 NYUNGWE FOREST
After an early morning breakfast, drive to Nyungwe Forest. A brief stopover is provided for a tour of National Museum at Butare and genocide memorial of Murambi. Arrive Nyuungwe forest in time to trek to see the colobus monkeys. These travel in troops of even up to 400.

Day 3 COLORED TRAILS OF NYUNGWE FOREST
After breakfast, enter Nyungwe forest to track the Chimpanzees. Thereafter, return to your lodge for lunch followed by a drive to Gisenyi to arrive in time for dinner and overnight at the Kibuye Guest House or similar .

Day 4 NYUNGWE FOREST TO KIBUYE
After breakfast, a tour of genocide memorial church or an optional tour to the Amahoro Island for a picnic. In the afternoon, drive to Gisenyi arriving in time for dinner and overnight at Kivu Sun or similar.

Day 5 GORILLAS IN THE MIST
After an early morning breakfast, drive to Ruhengeri for an encounter with the gorillas. Arrive at Kingi park headquarters. Together with your guides hike upto the bamboo zonw. Upon sighting the gorillas upclose observation then return to your lodge for lunch. In the afternoon tour of Ruhengeri.

Day 6 GORILLAS IN THE MIST
After an early breakfast, hike up to the bamboo forest to spend time in the company of the gorillas before return to your lodge for lunch. In the afternoon, drive back to Kigali arriving in time for dinner and overnight at Milles Collines or similar.

Day 7 CITY TOUR AND DEPARTURE
After breakfast, have a city tour. In the afternoon, transfer to the airport for your home flight.
