Day 1 JOHANNESBURG - VICTORIA FALLS
Arrive in Johannesburg and transfer to a flight bound for Victoria Falls, "the
Smoke That Thunders," in Zimbabwe.
Day 2 VICTORIA FALLS
Tour this spectacular mile-wide waterfall, just a short walk from your hotel's
dining terrace, afternoon at leisure to get acquainted. Later, enjoy a
"Sundowner" cruise on the Zambezi River then an "African Spectacular" music and
dance performance. Options: the "Flight of the Angels" aerial excursion over the
Falls; whitewater rafting. NB: You can also look at Murchison falls tours
Day 3 VICTORIA FALLS - CHOBE
Transfer to Botswana's Chobe, arriving in time for an afternoon game drive.
Here your safari camp is an elegant 5-star property overlooking the flood
plains and river islands.
Day 4 CHOBE
A full day of game viewing, beginning with a daybreak drive and continuing with
an afternoon river cruise to see hippo, crocodile, elephant, buffalo and many
bird species.
Day 5 CHOBE - KASANE - OKAVANGO DELTA
Transfer to Kasane for the shared charter flight to your next camp, at the
southern tip of Chief's Island.
Day 6 OKAVANGO DELTA
Game viewing here includes guided walks, game drives and seasonal mokoro dugout
trips. This area is a birdwatcher's paradise. You will have a unique opportunity
for a interactive experience with some local elephants and their handlers.
Day 7 OKAVANGO DELTA - MOREMI GAME RESERVE
Board a shared charter flight to a private concession of the Moremi Game
Reserve, a region teeming with elephant, lion, leopard, buffalo, cheetah and
wild dog.
Day 8 MOREMI GAME RESERVE
Game viewing options include four-wheel-drive excursions and seasonal mokoro
(traditional canoe) trips.
Day 9 MOREMI GAME RESERVE - MAUN - JOHANNESBURG - DEPART
Fly to Maun and on to Johannesburg where you board your international flight.
