Zimbabwe Travel Tour Tips Tourism Guidelines Weather Zimbabwe Dollars Flights
Zimbabwe has both Winter and summer months which favour different attractions within the country. The dry winter months which run from May to October are the most comfortable for traveling, while the wetter summer season runs from November to April.
Guests will be able to enjoy the green landscapes that characterise the hotter and wetter summer season, and wildlife safaris in winter, as animals tend to concentrate close to water holes and can be easily observed.
WEATHER:
The country has both high-veld (high grassland) and middleveld (lower altitude grassland) plateaus, which makes the tropical conditions normally tempered. Temperatures are higher from November to April during summer and lower from May to October in winter, with cool nights to around 25°C (77°F) during the day and create a very pleasant balance of sunshine, heat and humidity.
