Situated on a high plateau in Southern Africa, Zimbabwe is a landlocked country located between the Zambezi and the Limpopo rivers, and bordered by the countries of Zambia, Mozambique, South Africa and Botswana. The country that lies more than 300m above sea level covers 390 245 km2.
