BARRA BEACH.
Many of Mozambique's most beautiful beaches are within a short distance of
Inhambane. Situated between the Indian Ocean and Lake  Pembane including Barra
as one of these beaches.
It is found in the Northeast of Inhambane, approximately 5 kilometers before you
reach Tofu  Beach. Continue further, some 7 kilometers down a sandy track and
reach Barra Beach. There are only two accommodations available at Barra; the
accommodation you booked for will pick you up at the Tofu junction if you
contact them in advance. There is a little spot called the Bar Babalaza located
at the junction, where you can grab a pizza and drinks.
The best time for surfing at Barra Beach is winter.
