DAY I: BAZARUTO BEACH HOLIDAY.

Fly from Johannesburg to Vilanculos by scheduled flight. On arrival, you will be met and transferred to the Bazaruto Lodge on Bazaruto Island, where you will be accommodated for 7 nights on half-board basis. Non-motorised water activities are included in your stay. Bazaruto Lodge offers a wide variety of activities that ensures you will never be bored. There is superb snorkelling, diving and fishing to be had, as well as the quieter pleasures of bird watching and star gazing.

DAY 2-7: BAZARUTO LODGE.

# Itinerary

The accommodation at Bazaruto Lodge Island Resort is in rustic A-frame thatch chalets, nestled among the forested sand dunes at the north point of Bazaruto Island, just below the lighthouse. There are 26 comfortable, neatly appointed thatched chalets with en suite bathrooms (and hot water), which are serviced daily. All chalets are equipped with ceiling fans and mosquito nets. The water is filtered and safe to drink.

The lodge restaurant caters to the all appetites with a variety of delicious fresh seafood served daily. The attractive open-air bar encourages you to meet other guests, while a sundowner trip on a dhow provides a breathtaking way to end the day. The well-stocked bar has Portuguese and South African wines. There is also a fresh-water swimming pool, a games room with pool table and darts, and ski boating, scuba diving, snorkelling and Land Rover hire.
