Day 1 ARRIVE IN DAKAR, SENEGAL
International flight arrives Dakar, Senegal. After clearing customs and
immigration formalities you will be met, assisted and transferred to your
hotel.
Overnight at Novotel Dakar Or Similar
Day 2 DAKAR
Today go on a city tour of Metropolitan Dakar. Visit the colorful markets
including Tilen Market, famous for a variety of medicinal herbs and traditional
healers. Visit the National Art Gallery and the picturesque district of Medina

Overnight at Novotel Dakar Or Similar
Day 3 GOREE ISLAND
Visit the World Heritage Site of Goree Island. Experience "The Door of No
Return". Tour includes a lecture by the curator on the history of Goree Island

Day 4 THE GAMBIA
Day at leisure before afternoon flight to Banjul, The Gambia. Met, assisted and
transferred to your hotel. Relax at the beach in the evening.

Day 5 BANJUL
After breakfast, Banjul city tour. Visit the markets, museums, Batik factories,
monuments and other points of interest. In the afternoon, visit an African home
for a traditional Gambian wedding ceremony.

Day 6 ABUKO NATURE RESERVE
Tour of Abuko Nature Reserve. You may see chimpanzees and other animals but
will certainly see exotic birds. Visit the carving and craft center. Depart to
Dakar.

Day 7 PINK LAKE
Tour Pink Lake and neighboring Mandinka village. You will be welcomed by the
Chief and his family. This afternoon continue to St. Louis, the former colonial
capital of Senegal which still has the appearance of an old provincial town.

Day 8 DEPARTURE FOR HOME
Morning at leisure before departure home
